The Nut. Last updated October 9, 2026. By using The Nut or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

Not financial advice. The Nut does arithmetic on the bills, dates and amounts you put in. Its numbers are estimates to help you plan. They are not financial, tax or legal advice, and they are only as accurate as what you enter. Always check against your own statements before you rely on a number.

The subscription

The Nut costs $5 a month through PayPal, billed monthly until you cancel. Any free period is shown before you pay.
Cancel any time, in Setup or in your PayPal account. You keep access until the end of the month you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
All sales are final. Payments are not refundable. Because you can cancel any time and keep the month you already paid for, you are never charged for time you did not choose to keep.
If the price ever changes, you will be told before your next charge, and you can cancel first.

Your data

Your bills and numbers stay on your phone and are yours. You are responsible for keeping a backup (Setup has one). How we handle the little that leaves your phone is in the privacy policy.

Fair use

Use The Nut for your own planning. Do not attack, overload or try to get around its subscription, codes or servers.
Beta codes are personal and can be switched off.

The app as it is

The Nut is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made from its numbers, or for losses beyond what you paid for The Nut in the last 12 months.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and important changes are shown in the app. Questions: send a note from inside the app, or use accountableapps.pages.dev.
