Privacy policy

The Nut, an app that turns your bills into what you need to make this week. Last updated October 9, 2026.

The short version. Your bills, your earnings, your bank balance and your goals stay on your phone. There are no accounts and no ads, nothing is sold, and nobody builds a profile of you. The few things that do leave your phone are listed below, every one of them.

What stays on your phone

Your bills, due dates, what you made each day, your bank balance, your goals, your notes and your settings live in your phone's own browser storage. When you take a picture of your bills, the reading happens on your phone and the picture is never uploaded. Moving the app to a new phone with the QR code goes straight from one screen to the other.
